Got some questions?

Is this really free?

Yes. This is a volunteer service offered at no cost to you. There are no session fees, no travel fees, and no hidden costs.

Who is this for?

This service is open to any mother who wants newborn photos. Whether you planned ahead or not, whether this is your first baby or your fifth—if you’d like these moments captured, this is for you.

When should I schedule my session?

Newborn sessions are typically done within the first 5–14 days after birth, when babies are still very sleepy and curled. However, if your baby is older, don’t hesitate to reach out—we will still do our best to serve you.

Where do sessions take place?

Sessions can take place:

In your home

At the hospital (if timing allows)

Or in a simple, agreed-upon location

We aim to keep things as easy and comfortable for you as possible.

What if I didn’t plan ahead?

That’s completely okay. Many moms can’t.

Reach out as soon as you can after your baby arrives, and we’ll do everything we can to fit you in.

What should I bring or prepare?

Nothing complicated.

We provide simple wraps, blankets, and minimal styling. If you have something meaningful you’d like included (a blanket, heirloom, etc.), you’re welcome to bring it.

Can I be in the photos?

Absolutely. You are always welcome to be included. These images can be just as much about your connection with your baby as they are about your baby alone.

How long does a session take?

Most sessions are short and relaxed, typically around 60 minutes. We follow your baby’s pace and keep everything calm and unrushed.

How will I receive my photos?

You’ll receive a selection of carefully edited digital images delivered through an online gallery. From there, you can download and print them as you wish.

How long does it take to get the photos back?

Turnaround time is typically 1–2 weeks, depending on scheduling.

Is there any catch?

No. This is simply a way to serve mothers and make sure these early moments are captured—no expectations attached.

What if my situation is unique?

Every situation is unique.

If you’re unsure or have specific needs, just reach out. We’ll listen and do our best to accommodate you.

Would you take photos of my stillborn baby if that’s what I wanted?

Yes—absolutely.

It would be an honor to help you preserve the beauty and significance of your baby’s life. We approach these sessions with deep care, creating soft, meaningful images that you can hold onto for years to come. You are not alone in this—we will walk gently with you and honor whatever feels most important in those moments.

What if my baby is alive but may not make it out of the hospital?

Yes—we are here for you.

In these tender situations, we focus on capturing the connection, love, and presence that matter most. Whether it’s quiet moments with your baby or time together as a family, we aim to create images that reflect the depth and beauty of your time together. We will move at your pace and support you in whatever is best for you.

Will you post pictures of my baby online?

Only with your written permission.
